The Community Events Information Form is a way to inform the entire Cortland Area Community about your upcoming event. The city will post your community event on its city eNews, website and community bulletin board sign, if applicable. Please select all forms of media you would like your information to be distributed through in the form below.

The city sends emails every Friday to subscribers.

The city website has a calendar of events at the bottom of its home page.
Community Bulletin Board Sign (located in front of Speedway, intersection of State Route 46 and State Route 5)
- Available for any non-profit organization.
- First come - first serve, based on availability.
- Political and personal messages are prohibited except for 100th Birthday and 50th Wedding Anniversary announcements of Cortland City residents only.
- Intended messages shall be submitted 30 days prior to the date of intended use and subject to the discretion of the City Service Director.
- Information from the City of Cortland’s Administration will take priority over all other requests.
- Generally, the requests are posted on Mondays and run for a week.
