• • REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS - Owner’s Representative and/or Independent Cost Estimator for new Safety Services Complex
    The City of Cortland is requesting qualifications from a professional engineering/architecture firm to act as an Owner’s Representative (Owner’s Rep) and/or Independent Cost Estimator for a new Safety Services Complex to be located at 400 N. High St. in the City of Cortland. The selected Owner’s Rep and/or Independent Cost Estimator will act on behalf of the Owner (City of Cortland) to review cost estimates, oversee planning, design and construction phases, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. A professional firm will be selected based upon the submitted information. A detailed scope can be found below. Three (3) hard copies of the Statement of Qualifications and one (1) electronic submittal of the same shall be submitted no later than 4:00 P.M. on Monday, April 13, 2026 to: City of Cortland, ATTN Mayor Jim Bradley, 400 North High Street, Cortland, OH 44410.   • REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS - GENERAL MUNICIPAL ENGINEERING SERVICES
    The City of Cortland is seeking a Statement of Qualifications with supporting documents from qualified consultants for professional design services for general municipal engineering to be performed in 2026. Design firms will be selected for individual projects based upon the submitted information. A detailed scope of service, statement requirements, evaluation sheet, and cost proposal requirements can be found at below. The statements must be delivered to the City of Cortland at 400 North High Street, Cortland, Ohio 44410 no later than 4:00 P.M. on Monday, April 13, 2026.

  • 2026 ASPHALT RESURFACING
    Sealed proposals will be received at the City Administration Building, Council Chambers, 400 North High Street, Cortland, Ohio until 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, for the 2026 City of Cortland Asphalt Improvements. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately hereafter.

  • COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF RESIDENTIAL SOLID WASTE & CURBSIDE RECYCLING
    Sealed proposals were opened and publicly read aloud at the City Administration Building at 11am on Monday, March 23, 2026, for the collection and disposal of residential solid waste and curbside recycling. The City of Cortland reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.

    Notice is hereby given that the City of Cortland, Ohio will utilize internet auction or direct sale to other public entities for the sale of municipally owned personal property, which is not needed for public use, or is obsolete, or is deemed unfit for the use for which it was required. Items may include but are not limited to personal property such as motor vehicles, road machinery, equipment, tools and supplies, regardless of their value. Items to be disposed of will be posted on reputable on-line internet auction which are not limited to municibid.com, govdeals.com and ebay.com. The City’s webpage cityofcortland.org will provide a link to the site as well as announcements of available items, terms and conditions.
