Fall Oral Rabies Vaccine Baiting Operation
Beginning Friday, August 7, 2026, the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service Wildlife Services Program, in cooperation with the Ohio Dept of Health and several local health departments, will begin distributing oral rabies vaccine (ORV) baits by air and ground to immunize wild raccoons in targeted areas of northeastern Ohio.
